Kid-Landia (formally known as my finished basement)

Since we are essentially crazy, we now have a trampoline in our basement for the kids. Yes, I said trampoline in my BASEMENT.  This is an early Christmas gift for the kids from my in-laws.  Initially, we decided to let it stay in the box until spring time.  However, due to the kids acting like little nuts, Jeff put it together one evening. Since it's been up, they bounce around like little Mexican jumping beans. They love it, and we love it too! The tramp keeps the occupied, gets them exercise and gets them SUPER tired!  Nothing like two sacked out tired kids at the end of the day!

Jeff says it should be "simple" to take outside this spring.  But, I can see this staying in here year round.

[Disclaimer- no bouncing for adults, the weight limit is 100 pounds]

Time for PICTURES!!!

My basement went from this (which I transformed into kid land last year)

Now the swing and slide live here, and CC can watch NCIS as she swings

The big black thing is the tramp

We have a bouncy horse, kitchen set, drum kit
Connor enters in while CC ride the horse and goes YEEE-HAWW!

BOUNCE!

Horsey

Thank God the net keeps him in

Rocking on the drums
As you can see Kid-Landia is ready for when the weather turns cold and yucky.  We are lucky that most of the big toys are hand me downs.  In the winter, I will also bring down their scooter and other riding toys.  I try to switch toys from our basement and family room to keep them amused.  And when things get really bad, we open up a toy from Christmas or a birthday gift we have not opened yet.  That way, we have new toys throughout the year for them to enjoy.

Initially when we moved into the house, the basement was going to have a new bar, a great sit down area, a TV mounted on the wall... but for now... it's Kid-Landia
