19 Years

Holy Moses. 1992 to 2011, it's 19 years. It feels like, maybe ten years.... OK, maybe more. Since 1992, I graduated high school, college and grad school; got married, kicked infertility's ass, adopted, was pregnant, etc. So, a lot has changed in 19 years.

It's pretty amazing, Jeff and I have essentially grown up together- and we are STILL together! I am lucky and blessed, and glad he hung in there during the college years :) 

We celebrated by taking to kids to our local Zoo's Festival of Lights. I have NEVER seen our Zoo so packed. Never. Ever. We tried to make the most of it, but it was pretty crowded. The highlight was just walking around and enjoying being a family.

I never would have guessed that I would have married the guy I met on 12-16-1992. But, I am sure glad I did. He's one heck of a husband and best friend.
