Note to Self.

Dear Kim-

Next time you want to remove tree roots from your back yard, ignore your idea of using a pick-ax. Yes, it was a great tool and did the job. However, you are not used to this "Emanuel -Lewis-Labor." Face it, you're a desk jockey. Doing e-MANUAL - lewis - LABOR, is hard and you will be sore for days.

Now, you did kill the root that tripped your son, and the root that tripped you. But really, your whole back yard is roots. Either toughen up buttercup, or simply use your feminine "wildes" to talk Jeff into pick-axing. After all, he's the dude that wanted the stupid tool.

However, you probably did look pretty tough wielding that pick-ax while your husband spilt wood with the other ax. Most likely we looked like Paul Bunin and his butch wife - Paula. OK, time to call the landscape designer. Ok, maybe I will when the pain subsides. Ouch.
